The Rev. Cricket Cooper was ordained in 1989 following her graduation from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary. Following that she served as an Associate Rector at the Church of St. John the Evangelist in St. Paul Minnesota. In 1991 she became the Associate Rector of St. Andrew’s church in Wellesley, MA and then the Interim Associate Rector at Church of the Redeemer in Chestnut Hill, MA. In 1996 Rev. Cooper became the Canon for Administration, Education and Liturgy at Christ Church Cathedral in St. Louis, MO and also the Diocesan Canon for Liturgy for the Diocese of Missouri.
In 2000 she took on the role of Pastoral Associate at St. Peter’s in Ladue, Missouri and then in 2006 was selected as the Canon for Liturgy for the Diocese of New Hampshire. She became the Rector of St. Andrew’s in London New Hampshire in 2003.
In 2011 Rev. Cooper, with the blessing of the Diocese, began a two year period of continuing education at the University of Vermont studying Speech Pathology and Audiology. She graduated in 2013 and then sought to discern where God was calling her to serve next. The answer was St. Stephen’s Parish in Pittsfield, MA, where she began her tenure as Rector in October, 2013.
